Happy village common stage renovation completion
the common stage which was used for a lot of functions in the village has been generated and given back to them. it was never been renovated after its initial Construction by 1996. the purpose of this project to gain confidence between the village residents. the stage will be in future used upon as the building for stitching training institute. you also have plans to by uninstall five situations by may 2019.

the library was it a very bad stage in the village and the village requested the need for renovated library and competitive exam books. this is plan for the day of governors official visit to handover the library and To handover the competitive examination books.

Installation Function:
Installation function for Rotary club of Dindigul was planned on 11 July 2018, at Hotel Vivera Grande by 6 pm. Rtn R Ravi Chandran and Rtn V Moorthy Took Charge as the President and Secretary respectively. The new team of Office Bearers Also took charges on that day. District Governor elect rotarian Dr Zameer Pasha, was the chief guest on the day. the Rotary pledge was read by him, the president and secretary followed the same.

17 July 2018 : Board Meeting was held to discuss on the board Functionality Major Projects and the Routemap for the Entire Year along with the plan for July Month. Plan was made for the Major Project and Global Grant Proposals.
18 July 2018 : Blood Donation Drive & CLUB ASSEMBLY the plans of the board meeting was Discussed with the Entire Club and the members gave inputs on the projects and plan to complete the projects were discussed. Village evaluation visit was Planned so that the members will get a feel of what the village is like. Blood Donation Drive: Collected 559 Units of Blood. 21 July 2019: Happy Village Project : Village Assessment Visit, to start the service Projects, all team members of a club visited the village and had a rough assessment of the issues surrounding the village. this vastly help in the members to understand the situation of the village and everyone agreed to do the service project in the village.
25 July 2018 : Theme Promotion Meeting, Rtn R Anantha Jothi (Rotary Club of Dindigul Queen City) (PETS Chairman) was invited for the theme promotion meeting and the points on the Happy village project, the importance of it and the beneficial points in doing this are explained and put forward for the meeting.
01 Aug 2018 : Educational Awards, Past District Governor A Purushothaman, District Governor 2009 2010 Dist 3000 was invited for the distribution of educational awards to all 10th standard and 12th standard student for all the schools in dindigul. Invitations were sent to all schools and the respective students and their parents were invited to encourage the students and promote the public image.
04 Aug 2018 : Milch Animal Rearing Training, Past District Governor P Dhamodharan, District Governor 2008 2009 Dist 3000 has consented and inaugurate the Dindigul Dairy Global Grant Project. Regional Co Ordinator Rtn R Rajasekaran (Owner of Raaj Milk) has participated in the event and gave the 80 + beneficiaries the basics of marketability of milk and the important factors for the sustainability of the animal rearing business. This Project was Executed by our club member Rtn Britto Selvaraj.The Global Grant project was Sponsored by Rotary Club of Guelph, Club Number 4645 District 7080. Global Grant Number: GG1868613. All Members of the rotary Club Participated to Give the Grants to the 80+ Beneficiaries.
12 August 2018 : District Membership Seminar “Vergal” Organized by rotary club of Dindigul and No of Rotarians participated were 650+. Detailed Speech on the Importance of the Membership was Given by PDG N Ashoka (Dist 2982), PDG S Rajendran and Special Speech on Membership and Its Importance by Dr Lena Tamilvanan, Writer and Publisher as Guest Speaker in the presence of District Governor RVN Kannan and all District Officials and the Collage of PDGs.
22 Aug 2018 : Club Meeting, As an Initiative to share the memories and Increase the Interactions between members, The chance was Given for every Member who has travelled to a new destination was given, in that regard, Our Club Past President Rtn R Pandithurai, has Travelled to Andaman and he presented the memories on the tour and places to visit in a detailed manner, he has Also provided information about what Commodities are available and what are on demand and the probable business opportunities were also presented.
29 Aug 2018 : Rotaract Club Installation, Rotaract Club of PSNA CET was installed on the day by Rtn Pandithurai(As President of Rotary Club of Dindigul, Secretary Rtn Moorthy and the rotaractor Rtr Sanjai Gandhi and Rtr Sivasundar took over the leadership of 500 Rotaractors as president and Secretary respectively.
12 September 2018 : Induction of New Members and Membership Orientation Training, the Newly Joined members of our club namely Rtn Vinoo Anand, Rtn Sugumar, Rtn Syed Ahmed, Rtn Dr. Peer Mohammed, and Rtn Deepak were inducted and Orientation Training given by the Honorable District Governor RVN Kannan on this Day.
15 September 2018 : Animal Husbandry for Economic Growth, As animal Husbandry is a fast growing industry supported by the Increase in Meat demand, out member Rtn Dr Peer Mohammed was invited to give a speech on the Animal Husbandry. He motivated many to start the animal husbandry, he added more information on the advantages of consuming meat and debunked many myths that revolved the food news. The Topic was mostly de Mystifying. Our District’s Stewardship Director Rtn RSK Raguraman was present at the meeting and He Discussed a Lot on the animal husbandry project. All members Showed good interest in the inner workings of the Animal husbandry in the Parts of Animal Selection to Meat Culling Age etc.
19 September 2018 : IMPRINTZ, A New way on analysis the Brain’s Capacity, By our old Member Kathikesh, Explained the new technologies that is around dindigul for the assessment of a child for better tuning of coaching to customise and focus more on the child’s capacity area. New concept was introduced by Multimedia presentation and Many Members Participated with good interactive sessions. By this Meet, Rtn Britto Selvaraj, Correspondent of a school in Namakkal, also engaged the Imprintz Team to implement the same in the school to access the children.
19 September 2018: Gender Equality, Maternal care and Nutrition Awareness Camp ; Gender Equality, Maternal care and Nutrition In Association with Gandhigram Rural University, Specialists in the field were invited and 2 Day Training program was conducted to the people of the Village Chinnapallapatti. Detailed Training on how to cook Nutritional food from Regularly available Vegetables and Other Items were detailed. the importance of Nutrition during the Maternity and After Child Birth is Established. The importance of Gender Equality in Workplace and in the Society is Discussed and Awareness is given.
26 September 2018 : LIFE SKILLS, R Rajamani, Rtd Head Master, Explained the life skills where the Millennials; the newer generation kids should excell and what has been missed out. It proved to be a great session for the parents of college going teenagers. The focus was more on the social responsibility, Attitude, Harnessing good attitude and Facilitating good behaviour. As he has been managing teenagers for a long time as his career, his talk proved to be enlightening the parents on the various techniques he used to achieve the same. Rtn Naufer Jaleel, Member of Rotary Club of Kazhakuttom, Kerala, A Visiting rotarian from flood affected Region of Kerala, Planned to travel across india in an auto rickshaw as a camping van, for the promotion of Happiness in Life. Our Club Member, regional Co ordinator Rtn R Rajasekaran has arranged for stay in a good accomodation in his factory for a day as he was on wheels for the past 15 Days.
03 October 2018 : INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES, Vigneshwaran HDFC Mutual Funds, Explained the art of investing in the Mutual Funds and Several Cases were discussed among the members for the efficient investment opportunity and risks involved with different plan options and their efficacy were detailed. Even though it was a Night without power, our members actively participated by Sitting outside in Darkness and the meeting was interesting for everyone.
10 October 2018 : COL Insights, PDG P Dhamodharan, Attended the COL Conference in USA and jas just returned from the Abroad trip. He Agreed to Deliver the important points in discussion at the COL conference. He Proposed the opportunity of using the TRF funds for Combined agricultural activity promotion in the COL. It was an Honour for us to have him in our club. He Also explained the Functions of COL why this is important and how we can propose to COL for a change, The debates that happened and overall experiences of the COL meetings held.
17 October 2018 : SOLAR POWER ON GRID SYSTEMS by Er. Rtn Sathyamoorthy., With 40 years of experience in the MRT of TNEB, he explained on the advancements in solar energy and how even the house users can benefit from this. He has installed 30+ On Grid Solar systems (NOT SOLAR INVERTER) and explained the working process of it. He Explained how this can be achieved without using any battery for storage and how the TNEB meter reading is Adjusted. He also Recommended that the effectiveness of this systems in High Energy Consumption Households. Rtn R Rajasekaran got impressed by the Idea and has installed a 7 KW solar On grid System and He now doesn’t have an EB Bill to pay for his home. Many of our Member were interested in this Opportunity and many thanked for this Technology Update.
21 November 2018 : Honoring PHFs and Past Presidents and TRF training: Honoured all Past presidents and PHFs and MPHFs and every one who donated to TRF. The honoring and Training on TRF contributions done by PDG Rajadhurai Micheal. Extensive Details Were shared on the TRF Funds, How they are Utilized and the Importance of TRF Donations.
26 December 2018 : Family Tour Bangalore and Mysore., Many Rotary members along with their families participated in the tour and the excellent arrangement was made by Rtn C pandian along with Secretary Moorthy V and the tour plan was perfectly organized. It was a good chance for the Rotarian families to mingle and celebrate the togetherness.
09 Jan 2019 : Impressions on Anandham Conference. By President R Ravichandran, 15 + club member of our club visited and attended the conference “Anantham” at madurai. The several; video clips were recorded and the same were played at the meeting held to pass on the rotary spirit that was gained. The Informative Speech by Mr ravindran (Bangalore) who donated 100 crores for TRF was remembered and the spirit of the same was shared. The Excellent speech by Rtn Dato Siva Ananthan from Rotary Club of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s Video was played in full by contacting him. He was Kind enough to send the Youtube Link of his Presentation and this impressed the members a lot.
31 Jan 2019 : Vocational Service Awards. By Rtn J Karthick, District Director Special projects, Rotary Club of Perambalur, Our Clubs Vocational Services Director TNPK Anandhakrishnan Helped in identifying the Persons for Vocational service Awards were in people Go beyond their regular work to do Excellent Service, being not Part of rotary were identified and Honored. 1. Krishnaswamy, Gandhigram, Awareness sessions towards environment ( reusable napkins) 2. Mrs.Joyce Sahaya jocy, For her dedication towards special children in Blooming special School Making a Special 8th Std child to Attend the Regular 8th Standard Examination and Pass. 3. Mrs. Jesumani, Noon Meal organizer didi a service of approx 10,000 rs per month towards organising Noon Meal for 30 + Needy Children, Etgilodu. 4. Mrs M Stella Mary, Rotary Primary and Nursery School being in the very nominal salary serving the needy children for past 19+ years. Working beyond Schedules to Bring the Non Cared low grade children out of her own interest and making this school well known in the area.5. Mr Rajkumar , Silvarpatti, Primary health Center for the needy very remote region. Manages by Collecting Very Minimal costs and arranges Medicines to the Needy of that area. A total of 5 awards were given to the Excellent Service by them. Award Receivers Family and Friends were invited for the function.
14 February 2019 : Interact Club Installation at Shri Maha Vidhyalaya by AG G balan, Our Rotary Member Rtn S Elangovan initialised the opening of the interact Club at the Shri Maha Vidhyalaya. The installation was done by our beloved Assistant Governor G Balan and Motivational Speech and the concepts of Interact was explained beautifully by our Beloved Past District Governor PDG Dhamodharan sir at the Shri Mahavidhyala and Many Members Participated.
27 February 2019 : Artistic Roller Skating by Rtn S pandiarajan, Our Rotary Member Rtn S Pandiarajan’s Daughter Miss Ann. Uthra Rajan, Has won several medals in the artistic roller skating, she has won 3rd level in State Level and has competed in the National level Events also. In Order to encourage the Efforts by Rtn Pandiarajan and his Family on the Achievements of Ann. Uthra rajan was Honored and a Detailed Multimedia Presentation on the Sport Artistic Roller skating was beautifully explained by our club member Rtn pandiarajan and he shared the toughness he faced being in dindigul, a remote place for this extremely rare sport. Several members with family Participated for this event.
Service Projects
18 July 2019: Blood Donation Camp in PSNA College. Rtn Elangovan Organized the event, 559 Units of blood was donated and the blood was given to Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Govt Hospital and Dindigul Blood Bank. The Rotaract Club of PSNA CET Organized the event in a great manner on the Birthday of the Founder of PSNA College and Made this Donor Programme a Great Success.
12 August 2018, District Membership Seminar by Seminar Chairman Regional Co Ordinator Rtn R Rajasekaran. LENA Tamilvanan was invited as a chief guest and delivered a special speech on the membership development in Rotary clubs. several clubs Pune district participated and has had the highest head count of 500 Plus. all the arrangements of the district membership seminar where done by the members of the Rotary Club of the Dindigul. other clubs of Dindigul has also come consistently participated during the planning and execution of the seminar.

19 August 2018, Kerala Flood Relief. Organised by PNR Suresh. After the horrible floods in Kerala it was decided to send relief material for the most affected people in Kerala. plan was made to put 5 kg of rice 1kg of doll with salt and masala powders along with a set of basic vessel. So, the most affected people can make use of this to form temporary arrangement for their meals. all the members sponsored by contributing good sum of money towards the purchase of the above said items. Contributions in the form of labour packing labour force et cetera are provided by T N P K Ananthakrishnan, e Elangovan, regional coordinator r rajasekaran, new member s sugumaran, and many other members. detailed contribution list is attached herewith.
Cost: 8 Lakhs in Contribution + 2 Lakhs worth of Material Total : 10 Lakhs
25 August 2018, Medical Camp at Chinna Pallapatti village, preliminary medical camp was arranged for 400 plus residence of the village and general medical checkup was done and the major medical problems were identified. majority of the issues were identified and no mostly the issues were due to the pig population around the locality and due to the most contaminated around the locality. projects for plan based on this to provide a toilet to this village. due to the high level of TDS content in the groundwater the soak pit of the toilets did not work, and hence there is a need of big toilet in the locality. to gain the confidence of the village, as the village was several times given a false promises by several NGOs, atoms are main to establish a level of Trust between The villages and the Rotary Club of Dindigul, by providing support for the community stage, renovation of library et cetera.

16 September 2018, Ozone day celebration by planting trees. as a part of ozone day celebration of rotaract Club of PSNA CET has identified place near the pond of a village to plant 300 + trees as a part of ozone Day celebrations.
16 October 2018, 1000 Tree planting. as a part of Green globe awareness project or rotaract Club of PSNA CET organised to plant thousand tree saplings along 3 particular villages and has existed in the cleaning up of pond in that village. we have ensured that the trees are a properly fed with water, and are maintained in a proper way.
30 October 2018, New Toilet Block at SithayyanKottai Govt School, . As part of the Rotary gems project, then Rtn IPDG P Gopalakrishnan, Rtn DG RVN Kannan (district Governor 2018 2019), has open the new toilet block at Sithayyankottai government school. this project was initiated by Rtn PNR Suresh, then president LR Narayanan and then secretary T anantaraman. New Toilet Block Constructed Via Global Grant for Sithayyankottai School, for 1300 Students with Provision for Specially Abled Student also.

20 November 2018, Gaja Cyclone Relief. Rotary Club of Dindigul has arranged several vehicles for carrying water in the areas of natham and thuvarankurichi. two tankers where in the entire service for 5 continuous days. has most of the areas the last power, rotarian r rajasekaran sir, has arranged three generator sets, along with the vehicle and team to go to the most unreachable area and give power to the local well, Unload the water into the storage tanks. apart from this relief material campaign containing the foodstuffs, namely a 5 kg rice 1kg Dal salt and masala powders, where packed to the tune of 3 lakh rupees, and send to the flood affected area for circulation.
